While the Twin Metals Minnesota Project is an extraordinary opportunity for economic growth and job creation regionally and statewide, public safety and wellness remain paramount in the development and operation of the mine.

Preserving the health and well-being of our employees, their families, the community and environment are part of Twin Metals’ core values. Twin Metals Minnesota requires compliance with health and safety regulations, policies and programs. Employees and contractors are thoroughly trained to be responsible for their safety as well as the safety of their colleagues.

Twin Metals Minnesota adopted the National Mining Association’s CORESafety Program, which is a systematic approach to developing a safety culture with the goal of eliminating injuries. Twin Metals also holds weekly safety meetings with staff to ensure that safety updates are communicated and training opportunities are identified.

Twin Metals Minnesota aims to sustain and improve the way of life for the people of northeast Minnesota, statewide and regionally. Twin Metals Minnesota holds itself to a high standard of accountability when it comes to the expectations of community members, employees and stakeholders, as well as state and government agencies.
