Chris Anderson, Twin Metals Minnesota director of legal affairs

ST. PAUL, Minn., September 21, 2020 – Twin Metals Minnesota is thrilled to announce that Chris Anderson has joined the company’s leadership team as Director of Legal Affairs beginning today. Anderson brings nearly 30 years of legal experience to the team, having served at ALLETE/Minnesota Power for the past 27 years, most recently as Associate General Counsel.

“I believe in Twin Metals’ mission to bring economic growth to the region through modern, environmentally responsible mineral development,” Anderson said. “I’m looking forward to working with the team to bring the project to fruition in the coming years.”

Anderson brings a breadth of knowledge to the organization, having worked extensively with state and federal regulators on energy projects and in a variety of diverse business initiatives. As a Bois Forte Band member, Anderson has also had the opportunity to serve as a tribal judge for a number of years.

Anderson is a proud native of Ely, Minn., and will primarily be based out of Twin Metals’ Ely operational headquarters. Outside of work, Anderson enjoys attending his son’s hockey games and soccer matches and experiencing life in northern Minnesota through fishing in the Boundary Waters and spending time at his home on Burntside Lake near Ely.
