Minnesota is home to more than 4 billion tons of copper, nickel and platinum group metal resources, the largest known undeveloped deposit of strategic metals in the world. The Twin Metals Minnesota project has the potential to be among the world’s lowest-cost sources of strategic metals for many decades. Twin Metals Minnesota’s in-fill drilling efforts continue to deliver strong results, with clear indications that Minnesota sits on the verge of a mining renaissance. In October 2011, Twin Metals Minnesota formally began the prefeasibility study (PFS) phase of project development. The PFS will result in a detailed project proposal that will be subject to rigorous, thorough and lengthy environmental review by multiple state and federal agencies.
